Shirley Mae Jones (born March 31, 1934 in Charleroi, Pennsylvania) is an American singer and actress. She guest stars in "Car, Rain & Fire" as Mona Patterson, Cat's favorite actress who Cat thought had passed away.
Shirley is best known for her role as the widowed mother of five children in The Partridge Family. She won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Elmer Gantry (1960). In addition, she starred in a number of well-known musical films, such as Oklahoma! (1955), Carousel (1956), and The Music Man (1962).
