The song is first performed in the special Tori Goes Platinum. After Tori stood up to Mason Thornesmith about changing her character, she was fired from performing in the PMAs and gave the chance to Jade, who also auditioned for the Platinum Music Awards. While Jade was getting ready, she watches a video of Tori and Beck's conversation and after realizing that Tori was defending her, Jade, as a token of gratitude, decides to quit and give Tori the chance to perform because she knew that this was her biggest opportunity. As a result, Jade and Tori finally become friends. Mason, however, gets upset that she still performed despite firing her but overall, enjoyed the performance in the end.
