"You're special...You're fantastic...You belong at this school."
André to Tori in Pilot

Tandré is the pairing of Tori and André, (Tori and André). The relationship is sometimes referred to as Anori (André and Tori). They have been best friends since they first met in the Pilot. They sing many duets with each other and often rely on one another for support in various situations. While Tandré was hugely popular right from the start of the show, as time passed, the series' reluctance to engage in overtly romantic Tandré plots, like it did for Bade and Cabbie, caused much of its fire to fade. Nonetheless it remains one of the more popular pairings on the show and, platonically at least, is supported by virtually the entire fanbase.

Victoria and Leon are also good friends in real life. See Veon for the real life pairing of Victoria Justice and Leon Thomas lll.

Friendship Dynamic

Tori&Andre Photo2
Tandre4

Tori and André.

Tori and André have established a friendship based on support and encouragement. André was the first to believe in Tori's talents as he coaxed her to sing in The Big Showcase in Trina's place and encouraged her to accept the offer to join Hollywood Arts, even getting the whole crowd to cheer her on. André is a shoulder to lean on for Tori. She occasionally asks him for help as in the episode The Birthweek Song. After Jade poured coffee on Tori's head and Tori felt she doesn't belong at the school, André reminded her that she was a fantastic performer and that she belonged at the school. In The Diddly-Bops, Tori was supportive towards André's desire to get a record deal, and when that deal fell through, but she encouraged him to compose a new song and requested that the record producer come to watch their performance, thus earning him back the deal. They display support towards each other numerous times throughout the series and are almost always seen backing each other up. In Jade Gets Crushed, after André realizes he has a crush on Jade, he goes to Tori late in the night for advice, and Tori helps him throughout the episode to get over her. In A Christmas Tori, Tori is André's Secret Santa and works earnestly to find him the 'perfect' present. Tori's present to him is to perform the song he wrote for his Creative Music class in front of his teacher, earning him a higher grade (an A).

Tandré friendship is similar to Chase Matthews and Zoey Brooks from Zoey 101 (another one of Dan Schneider's series), although there was no romantic attraction confirmed. Excluding Trina, André was the first person at Hollywood Arts to meet Tori (like Chase was the first person at PCA to meet Zoey, excluding her brother Dustin), they are best friends and can be mistaken for a couple by being so close, like Chase and Zoey. Also, the two couples often do not approve of a boyfriend or girlfriend that the other has.

An interesting note in that regard is that Tandré also bears an uncanny similarity to the friendship between Lola Martinez and Michael Barret from the same series, the former character having been the newest, omnitalented, member of the gang played by Victoria Justice and the latter having been a very close, musically gifted, African American guy friend. Like Lola and Michael, Tori and André are very supportive of each other, doing their best to help the other succeed, with their romantic pairing being popular in the fandom while it was the only one of the six person group (three girls and three guys) that was not made explicit in the series proper (though Lola and Michael, unlike Tori and André, would be paired up with other characters by the series' end).

Tandré Moments

In most episodes, the two are usually either seen walking together at some point from classes at Hollywood Arts or hanging out at Tori's house.

Season 1

Pilot

Plt01

"This girl doesn't know if she's good enough to go to school here. What do you think?"
Andre talking about Tori

Plt03
Plt05
  • The two meet within the first three minutes of the pilot episode. Trina introduces Tori to André (at first calling him "Andrew"), her talent show partner.
  • If Trina is not considered a main character, then they are the first of the main characters to interact.
  • André is Tori's first friend from Hollywood Arts.
  • Tori and André become quick friends, despite the fact André is working with Trina, not Tori.
  • In the first scene, when André puts his backpack down, he looks over at Tori with an expression that says, "Hey, cute girl."
  • Tori tells André he is a fantastic piano player, and André smiles at her.
  • Tori brings André a drink.
    Victorious LeonVictoria Blo
  • Tori tells Trina that she should let André play the song faster like he wants to.
  • Both are visibly annoyed by Trina's 'diva' actions. After Trina sings one line of Make It Shine, André asks Tori for an aspirin, and she gives him a handful of it, looking at him sympathetically.
  • When Trina and André are rehearsing, Tori is looking at André.
  • In the extended version, when Tori is put behind the screen to get her dress on, André tries to follow her, but is stopped by Lane.
  • At the showcase, Tori says hello to André's grandmother before being called backstage because of her sister's swollen tongue.
  • When Trina can't perform, André volunteers Tori to do the part, claiming that she knows the entire routine and song. Although Tori keeps refusing, he won't take no for an answer, showing that he has confidence in her.
  • In Tori's first attempt to run off, André picks her up and carries her over to the dressing area.
  • As the director pushes her onto stage, she makes one last attempt to escape but is pushed back on stage again, and André gives her a reassuring look.
  • After the performance, she and André hug.
    Tandre21
  • André says that Tori is "crazy talented."
  • As the principal of Hollywood Arts asks her if she wants to attend school there and everyone debates it, Tori, at one point, asks, "But what if I'm not good enough?" While the group continues arguing, André opens the curtains and asks the audience if Tori was "good enough" to get into Hollywood Arts. When they all applaud, Tori agrees and the two share another hug.
  • On her first day of school, Tori sits next to André who acts as her guide.
  • Before Sikowitz assures his students that he was just kidding about the fire, André was reaching to grab Tori's bag for her.
  • André tries to get Jade not to pour the coffee on Tori's head, openly raising his voice at her.
  • After Jade has poured coffee on Tori, and when she leaves the class to call her mom, André walks out of class to talk to her saying that she's "special, fantastic, and [belongs] at [Hollywood Arts]."
  • André looks sad when Tori is late on her second day, depressed that she's seemingly given up.
  • Tori comes back the next day thinking about what André and Trina said to her. When she picks her actors, she picks André first; when he messes up, she pats him on the back as he leaves the stage. He is still happy that Tori lasts that long.
  • Both look disgusted when Beck and Jade kiss, the first hint that they both think very little of the couple's supposed romance
    Tandre-Pilot
    .
  • During Alphabet Improv, after André says that a turtle bit his toe, Tori walks over to stand beside him.
  • André is very proud of Tori kissing Beck and defying Jade, to the point of cheering the loudest.
  • This episode is one of the main Tandré episodes.

The Bird Scene

TBS001
  • Throughout the whole episode, it is stated that André wants Tori to be the lead in a play, which is the reason why she needs to complete the Bird Scene.
  • Even though Tori is new to the school, André thinks she'd be the perfect choice for the lead in Moonlight Magic as opposed to the more experienced Jade or Cat, whose talents he often seems to hold in contempt.
  • André is very welcoming to Tori.
  • At the beginning of the episode, André (along with Robbie) helps Tori with her books when she is struggling to put them into her locker.
  • When André is playing his keyboard, Tori is slightly dancing to his music and looks disappointed when André, along with Robbie, has to leave.
  • When Sikowitz throws a ball at Tori and tells her he needs to speak to her, André laughs a bit and wishes her good luck.
  • Tori asks if André got out of ballet class, showing that she is curious about his problems and cares about him.

Stage Fighting

Tandre Edit1
TBS002

Then hit it, muchacha!

  • After Tori plays her French horn and says that it's broken, André takes it from her (without wiping it off) and plays it perfectly.
  • André was probably trying to impress Tori when he was showing off his skills on the French Horn.
  • When Tori is trying to get Russ to stop fighting Beck (not knowing they were just stage fighting), André is the one to get her off of Russ' back and keep her from attacking him.
  • Tori seems to trust André and turns to him to ask about stage fighting, and later, asks him again about why Jade hates her.
  • André patiently explains stage fighting to Tori in private so that Jade won't make fun of her for not knowing.
  • André teases Tori that the reason Jade hates her is that maybe Jade heard her play the French horn.
  • When Tori, André, and Cat are having lunch and Tori expresses how she is afraid Jade will actually hurt her as an "accident," André tries to assure her she'll be fine.
  • After his scene, André gives Tori her acting props and mouths something assuring to her when she looks nervous about stage fighting Jade. Eventually, this gives her enough confidence to go on stage.
  • When everyone is tending to Jade, after Tori is accused of hitting her, André stays next to her.
  • Tori turns to André for back up but he believes Tori really hit Jade, and because of this she is a bit upset that he doesn't take her side.
  • Even though he believes that Tori hit Jade, he doesn't think that she meant to do it.
  • Later when he sees Jade in the hall and finds out her black eye is a lie and that it is just makeup, Jade tells him not to tell anyone, especially Tori. He says he won't, and after a pause, goes running around yelling Tori's name to tell her, while Jade chases him trying to get him to stop. According to Tori's posts, André was able to tell her showing that he values her friendship more than he fears Jade which, considering what a coward André is, is true friendship indeed.
  • André cares about Tori, when everyone else is saying she hit Jade.

The Birthweek Song

TBWS13

"Who has two thumbs and knows how to help a friend write a song? This guy!"
— Andre Harris

TBWS01
TBWS08
TBWS11
  • When Tori is having trouble thinking of a gift for Trina, André is one of the people to volunteer to help her (along with Robbie and Cat). When the group is at lunch, still thinking of ideas, Tori and André sit close to each other. When he suggests Tori to get cheese for Trina, she gives him a weird look and he says, "Let's not do cheese." While he scribbles cheese off the list, she looks at him sweetly for a little bit before moving on to Robbie.
  • Tori and André sit right next to each other at lunch.
  • That night, Tori has André over at her house for his opinion on Trina's gift; she buys her boots. When he calls the boots "shoes" she hits him in the back of the head. André replies, "I can't believe you hit me on the head!", stunned by how strong someone as thin as Tori is.
  • When Trina buys the same shoes that Tori got her for her birthday, André suggests she write her sister a song. When she says that she can't write a song, he asks her who she knows that does, and then points to himself like Trina has done moments before and says "This guy!" which she giggles at.
  • While they are writing the song, they are having a good time on the couch laughing and talking.
  • When André sings to Tori the lyrics "You might be crazy, but have I told you lately, that I love you, you're the only reason that[...]." When André sings "I love you", he looks directly at Tori.
  • When Tori comes to record, André is with her, even though Trina only called Tori. This could imply that Tori must've wanted him to come.
  • This may be an attempt by André to confess his feelings for Tori, but she didn't realize it.
  • Given that André helped write the song, the lyrics may indicate how he views Tori. At the very least, it appears that she's his muse.

Jade Dumps Beck

SHSUDFH

Jealousy, huh?

JDB01
JDB02
Tandre Edit2
  • When André and Beck are sitting at the table outside and Tori runs over, she sits next to André.
  • When André looks at the picture of Beck and Alyssa Vaughn, Tori leans closer to him to look, putting her head almost on his shoulder.
  • Whenever André says the attractive celebrity that Beck knows (Alyssa Vaughn) is hot, Tori gives him a strange, but slightly curious, look, which is possibly a sign of jealousy.
  • When Tori looks at Jade sitting alone, she looks at André with a look that says, "we should sit with her." He quickly refuses and tries to make a run for it, but she grabs his backpack, and he gives up and decides to follow her. This shows that Tori might be someone who can get André to do anything she wants him to.
  • It seems that both of them find Alyssa Vaughn to be attractive.
  • Both André and Tori help their friends with their problems, and the advice that they give initially backfires, but works out in the end.

Tori the Zombie

TTZ02
  • Tori and André are practicing the songs for the play together in her living room. André tells her to sing the song like an old jazz singer and when she asks why, he says, "To amuse me." She laughs and starts singing.
  • When she's done he starts to tease her saying he is amused.
  • André doesn't make Tori keep trying to sound like an old jazz singer when he sees she clearly can't do it.
  • André offers to get the girls (Cat and Tori) a pizza.
  • When Cat comes to put make-up on Tori and asks him to be her assistant, André leaves. He then comes back bringing pizza even if it is a possibility that Cat will ask more help from him.
  • When Trina and Cat finally arrive, Tori gives André a signal to keep the music going, and he immediately understands and gives her an okay sign.
  • Tori trusts André to cover for her while she removes her make-up backstage.
  • André keeps the music going while Tori gets the monster make-up removed.

Robarazzi

R B R Z I T 0 3
  • Tori's ringtone is You're The Reason, a song that she and André co-wrote.
  • André and Tori (with Beck) are both there to support Cat in throwing away her Sky Store catalog at school.
  • André and Tori (along with Jade and Beck) go to yell at Robbie for his rumors on Robarazzi.
  • Tori seems upset when some of Robbie's photographers take pictures of André with a bottle of ketchup.

Survival of the Hottest

SOTH01

Tori having a tiny fan.

SOTH02
SOTH07
  • At the beginning of the episode, when André walks over to the gang sitting at the table and greets them, Tori gives him a flirty wave.
  • At one point, Tori has her head resting against André's leg when they are all trapped in Beck's RV.
  • André says Tori teased everyone with her tiny fan. Unamused, Tori decides to pocket it only for everyone to beg her to turn it on.
  • Along with Tori, André is angry when he finds out about the near-empty water Trina kept from everyone in the RV.
  • When they're trapped in the RV and are sharing a cap of the water that Trina had, Tori passes it to André right after her turn.
  • They are the only ones who took a tongue dip (as Robbie helplessly finished it).
  • She puts her head on his shoulder when he unwillingly passes it on to Robbie, showing that she is tired and that she wants to rest on something.
  • When they all start to lose hope that Cat will come back anytime soon, André suggests everyone to sing to lighten the mood, making everyone else protest, saying that it's a stupid idea. Tori, however, starts singing Make It Shine and André joins her. Following their example, everyone starts singing until Cat walks into the RV.
  • Once they're free of the RV, André runs to grab a water bottle from the cooler, but tosses one to Tori even before he opens his.

Wi-Fi in the Sky

W I T S T 0 1

André gives Tori the thumbs up when she kicks Robbie out of their chat.

  • André doesn't hang up himself. His grandmother breaks the computer screen causing technical difficulties, so he technically never hangs up on Tori in the first place.
  • They're the first people on each other's contact lists, showing that André considers Tori a better friend than the people he's known for, at least, two years.
  • André tries to make a joke to Tori but quickly sobers up when he sees how deeply unfunny she found it.
  • André and Tori are the first ones to talk in the 4-way video chat, between Beck, Cat, Tori, and André. She specifically looks to see if he is on.
  • Even though Beck, Cat, and André are all using a clockwise effect, Tori says, "André focus!"
  • André teases Tori when the little boy says she is hot (he says that she is hotter than Trina), then Tori replies "not cute, André," and smiles.
  • Tori asks André about his grandmother and expresses concern.
  • Tori looks very shocked and concerned when André's grandmother punched his laptop.
  • Tori tells Trina to stop showing her butt onscreen and scaring André (and Beck).
  • Tori asks André where he is. This probably means that her first expectation is that André would be home, and since she doesn't recognize the location as his home this could imply that she's visited André's house before.
  • Though André does not seem to approve of Tori's temper towards their friends, he never acts like she's being unreasonable in calling out their immaturity.

Beck's Big Break

BecksBigBreak-Tandre
  • When Tori orders her food from the grub truck, André greets her with, "What's shakin' bacon?" she responds with a smile.
  • Tori tells André that she "could stick him with a safety pin" (flirtatiously) to André to help cheer him up that bees won't sting him.
  • André tells Tori first that he has never been stung by a bee.
  • Tori and André are eating lunch together with Beck and Jade.
  • When Tori is on stage in class, practicing emotions, André stares at her.
  • Tori tells André that they saw him "working that hot girl over there," in a rather flirty tone of voice.
  • When Tori is upset by what Jade said to her, André comforts Tori.

The Great Ping Pong Scam

TGPPS001
  • Though André seems annoyed by Tori being an expert ping pong player, it seems more derived from her smugness at being so much better than everyone else, as opposed to Jade who simply doesn't want Tori on the team. Or perhaps he doesn't want Tori to learn about the secret and think of him as a bad person.
  • When Tori demands to know why they had started a "Fake Ping Pong Team," André is the first to suggest that they tell her, showing that he believes that she is a valuable member to their group of friends and deserves to know their secret.
  • Like with the fake black eye incident, André defies Jade's will for Tori's sake showing that he values her friendship more than he fears Jade.
  • When André reveals that there is no real ping pong team, she pokes his chest in victory, to which André stares at her.
  • André agrees with Tori that he and the other four are bad storytellers.
  • The two sit across from each other at dinner.
  • The song André and Tori performed and wrote together was called Tell Me that You Love Me.
  • Throughout the performance, the two of them exchange warm glances and constantly smile at each other.
  • André didn't even spare a single glance at Jade in the dress but seems unable to take his eyes off of Tori wearing it.
  • This episode marks the first duet between André and Tori.
  • After Tori's performance, André is smiling proudly at her.
  • Tori places her hand on André's shoulder during the performance, and he smiles widely at this.
  • At the end of the performance, Tori and André look directly into each other's eyes, smiling widely.
  • Tori lays on the piano and while singing, she stares into André's eyes.
  • At the beginning of the song, André seems to be in deep thought and slightly sad. This might mean he's sad that Tori doesn't love him.

Freak the Freak Out

FreaktheFreakout-tandre
  • André doesn't act as upset as Cat when Tori's phone interrupted their scene.
  • Both refer to Jade as a gank, Tori to her face and André when Jade refuses to bring him a soda.
  • André (seen to the right) smiles when Tori laughs at Northridge girls robbing Robbie, showing that he wants her to be happy.
  • When the boys are trying to untie Trina, André tells them that there's a pair of scissors in one of the drawers. This shows that he know's Tori's house very well and is over at Tori's enough to know his way around.
  • Tori texts André telling him to watch Trina for her - she could have messaged any of the guys, but she chose André, suggesting she trusts him to take care of Trina.
  • When André gets this text, he is excited to tell Beck that it's Tori, as if flaunting that Tori chose to text him.
  • André seems very upset with Tori that she ditched them with Trina, saying, "How could you leave us here with that monster?" in a betrayed tone.
  • Tori feels bad for leaving André, along with Beck and Robbie, to take care of Trina.

Rex Dies

  • Tori tells André that he's a great actor.
  • Tori reads the comments when André tells her to.
  • André is annoyed that Tori (along with Cat and Trina) can cry on cue.
  • André shows Tori how to operate the Turblow Jet and when she lets it suck up Sinjin's shirt, he laughs.
  • When André asks why everyone is panicking, and when Sinjin says that Tori tried to kill Rex, Tori shouted, "SINJIN!" This shows that Tori didn't want André to think she was that cruel to both Rex and Robbie.

The Diddly-Bops

DB05

"That song is so awesome. How did you turn Favorite Foods into that?"
— Tori Vega

"Will you sing backup for me?"
— Andre Harris

  • Tori gives Sikowitz a thumb drive with André's song on it and says it's really cute.
  • When André gets the call from the agent, he only tells Tori, even though everyone else is present. This shows that she is clearly his best friend.
  • After André tells Tori, they share a tight embrace.
    Tandre DiddlyBopsMoment
  • When everyone is at Tori's house trying to brainstorm, she only gets drinks for herself and André.
  • When the gang is trying to comfort André after he learned that he lost his deal with the record label, Beck tells André that he is a great songwriter and musician, then Tori quickly adds, "The best" and smiles encouragingly at him as she says this.
  • When Tori realizes André has missed two of their classes, she goes looking for him. She also posts "ANDRÉ - WHERE R U?!?!?!" on TheSlap as her status, along with a "Searchy" smiley.
    DB06
  • Tori seems to be concerned when André is depressed and tries to cheer him up.

Cutest Hug Ever Click For G.I.F If Needed

  • Throughout the episode, Tori is constantly supporting André.
  • André starts writing Song2You after Tori suggests he change his song Favorite Food since he doesn't like it. Had she not suggested that before she left, it is likely that André would have succumbed to his depression.
  • André composes a love song just after Tori leaves, possibly his way of admitting his feelings for Tori, and she just doesn't realize it.
  • André and Tori are standing next to each other in the Diddly-Bops picture.
  • After Tori leaves, André instantly starts writing Song2You and the lyrics suggest that she might be his muse.
  • Tori is the first person André plays his new song for.
    ImagesCAUEHSBC
  • Tori persuades André to sing his song and that the producers would show up at his performance at the school, saying she would beg them to do it.
  • After Tori tells André that she is a very good beggar and that he should sing his song for the record executive and his boss, she grabs the collar of his shirt and makes him promise to sing his song if she can get them to come to his performance.
  • While Tori is telling André that she would beg the executives to come see him sing, she briefly looks down at his chest before looking back up to his eyes.
  • André and Tori seem to be leaning towards each other when Trina comes downstairs.
  • She pulls on his shirt again when he asks her to sing backup for him and excitedly replies "Yeah, I will!"
  • André wants Tori to sing backup for him when she begs him to sing his song for the record executives.

  • Vlcsnap-2512880
Throughout their performance, Tori and André periodically sing to each other.
    Vlcsnap-2512548
  • There are times during their performance when Tori sings to André even when he is singing to the audience.
  • There is a part near the end of the performance where André is singing alone to the music. He smiles at Tori during this time and moves closer to her. She smiles back and giggles, almost resting her head on his shoulder.
  • After the performance, Tori and André share another embrace, almost falling as they hugged.
  • This episode marks the second time the two have sung a duet together (the previous was Tell Me that You Love Me).
  • So great is their performance, that it makes even the worst couple be happy.
  • When André points at the audience at the end of Song2You, he briefly points at Tori before putting his arm down.
  • If it wasn't for Tori convincing the record label to give André a second chance, he would likely have succumbed to his depression and given up music. As of this episode, he owes to her any future he might have in the industry.

  • Tori takes André and Robbie to Mrs. Lee's restaurant for lunch.
  • Tori and André sit next to each other at Mrs. Lee's restaurant.

  • Tori complains to André about Jade getting mad at her, showing that she feels comfortable talking to him about her problems.
  • Tori depends on André to act with Trina instead of Robbie or Beck.
  • Tori tells Jade that André texted her showing that he wanted to give her an update.

The Wood

TW03
  • At lunch, you can faintly hear André saying to Tori, "Yeah, you know, I like shirts with green stripes" while he was wearing one.
  • At lunch, Tori is sitting close to André, and they look like they're having a good time.
  • After Jade shoves Tori off the couch, she sits very close next to André.
  • When the fake phone call between Tori and Beck begins, André and Tori face each other.
    TW001
  • When André, Tori, Beck, and Jade are watching The Wood episode they are in, André shifts uncomfortably while watching Tori and Beck "flirting" on TV.
  • André looks jealous when sitting on the couch watching Tori and Beck "flirt" on TV. However, he says, "Man this show is good!" so it is unknown what his real opinion is. He could've said that to lighten the mood so maybe Jade wouldn't be so angry, though.
  • André pushes Jade out of the way when she is attacking Tori. An extreme risk given how violently Jade reacts to anyone touching her.
  • André is impressed when Tori and Jade reenact their fight.

A Film by Dale Squires

  • When filming the short film, Tori tells Jade not to slap Cat and Jade replies with, "You're not the director." André quickly defends Tori.
  • André and Tori have similar reactions when they learn of Dale Squires taking the credit for the film.
  • Tori calls André "smart."
  • André was the key element in getting revenge on Squires for not crediting Tori (and the others) for the movie. But André himself wanted Tori to be the one to come up with their revenge plan.
  • When they are watching the movie, Tori and André are sitting next to each other, and whisper to each other occasionally.
  • Tori relied on André to put their names at the end of the film.
  • The two sit next to each other when Kendra Harris is attacking Dale Squires, with it almost seeming that André wants to impress Tori that he came up with the plan, which is usually what she does.
  • Both are shocked that Dale credited them and that Kendra misinterpreted the abort signal.

Sleepover at Sikowitz's

IMG 0256

"Well, see, I had this dream last night where this lady cop was like... and she was like... then I was like... I just thought of it."
— Andre Harris planning Tori's character

  • The two are doing a scene together when the episode opens.
  • Tori is annoyed that André won't support her in calling out Sikowitz's insanity.
  • André shakes his head disapprovingly when Rex tells Tori that she should play "a woman who likes to make out with 2-foot tall guys who happen to be me."
  • André glares enviously at Rex when Tori kisses him.
  • André and Tori perform a scene together in Sikowitz's class.
  • André picks a female police officer who wears way too much red lipstick and obsessed with Raisin Bran for Tori to play.
  • André says that he had a dream with a female police officer, potentially implying that he had a dirty dream of Tori as a cop. He was about to explain how he got the idea of the police officer, but he stops himself, implying that the dream about the police officer was slightly suggestive, and he feels awkward about telling Tori about it.
  • Tori says that André's idea for her character is a good one though she seems confused at how he came up with it.

Season 2

BOYKTandre

Beggin' on Your Knees

  • André and Tori both get asked to join the quartet and both turn them down.
  • At the end of Tori's performance, she high-fives and hugs André.
  • André gives up attending his great-grandfather's 97th birthday party, or at least makes himself late to it, to write a song for/with Tori.
  • André seems a bit jealous when Tori talks about Ryder and questions her about him.
  • André goes with the group to tell Tori about Ryder. He seems rather angry at Ryder for using Tori and later at Jade for her needlessly cruel remark.
  • When Tori asks André to write a really cool song, she grabs his hand.

Beck Falls for Tori

  • André tells Tori that he doesn't think she should do the stunt, signifying that he may be concerned about her getting seriously injured.
  • After Tori sarcastically tells Cat she could design something for her to wear for her funeral, André replies, "Come on now. There's not gonna be a funeral. We're all gonna come down there, keep you cool, and watch you land safe and sound right there on that air sac." Tori smiles warmly at André soon afterward.
    BFFTTandreHug1
  • After easing her nerves, André jokes about Tori missing the air sack she's supposed to land on, saying "Unless you miss it." This could have been to ease her nerves even more and make her laugh.

  • Tori nods while giggling, then playfully claps her hands childishly and says "More" in a childish voice, causing André to laugh as well.
  • When Tori finds the "E" needed to spell "KE$HA", she excitedly hands the letter to André, who places the letter on a stand where the other letters there are found. The two then start to give a double high five, but stop because of the ice-cream on their fingers, and
    Untitledwwwqe4wetrqrtqrt
give each other "high elbows" instead.
  • After the group finds out that the KE$HA contest is over, André appears concerned when Tori says she's sad that she still has to be Trina's assistant. He tries to make her feel better by positively and optimistically saying that "Maybe...maybe Trina will just forget about it?"
  • When Tori is seen frantically looking for the "$" needed to spell "KE$HA", André seems to be the only one that notices that she is upset.
  • He goes over to her to calm her down and takes the spoon she was using to scrape the ice-cream out of the cartons, telling her "Why don't you take a little break?"
  • When Tori starts crying because she couldn't find the "$," she grabs André's shirt and buries her head in his chest, saying “Where...is the Ssss?!”
  • André comforts Tori and rubs her head, saying, "I...I don't know, baby...I just don't know..."
  • When Robbie hints to the group that the easiest to find letters are found in the three most popular flavors of ice-cream (which are the three flavors the group kept on buying), André starts to say "Then they probably put the hardest to find letters..." but is cut off when Tori starts rapidly/frantically beating on his chest saying "The Sss!"
  • André grabs Tori's hands to calm her down and to stop her from beating on his chest, saying "The S." as if to say "yes, the '$' we're trying to find."

  • Tori grabs André's shirt and asks him to drive her to the store after Cat tells the group where the Funky Nut Blast ice cream that could possibly have the '$' they're looking for can be found.
  • When Tori, Jade, Cat, and André are at the store and do not find the '$' they were looking, Tori starts to slowly slide down against the ice cream refrigerator, moaning and groaning while she slumps. André begs Tori to stop, saying "Tori... We're in public... goodness... Please?"

  • Tori responds by saying "Aww..." as if to say "Poor baby."
  • André's girlfriend, Sherry, looks very similar to Tori; having dark hair, tan skin, well-muscled, a modest chest, and being extremely thin; possibly showing that Tori fits André's type.

  • When Cat, Robbie, André, and Beck leave Tori alone (because nobody wants to help her to tell Trina she was kicked out), Tori looks only at where André left and seems very upset, meaning she is sad because he did not support her.

Who Did It to Trina?

Whodidittotrinatandre
  • André stands up for Tori, saying that he knows Tori, and she wouldn't do something like that to her sister by saying, "Jade, your story doesn't make any sense! Tori would never-" then they are all interrupted.

  • André and Tori are hanging out at the stairs with Robbie.
  • André asks Tori to sing the song when he finishes writing it. She happily agrees and they fist bump.
  • When Tori responds, "Me?" to André's song offer, he responds with, "Yeah, you're the only you I know." This may be his way of telling her that she is unique and special to him.
  • Tori seems sorry that she forgot about helping with André's song.
  • André sacrifices getting his song done with Tori so that she can get a good grade on the exam, showing that he cares about her wants and needs. That said, he seems more than a bit disappointed that Tori won't be singing his song, again showing that he views her as the best performer that there is.
  • André suggests that Tori just take the exam instead of the whole class.

  • Tori and André both enjoy Lane's sour cream and onion lotion.
  • André rides his bike all the way over to Tori's house for her help and comfort.

  • When André asks Tori if she got his text, Tori isn't looking him in the eyes; she is looking down possibly at his boxers or legs.
  • Tori makes hot chocolate for herself and André to have while discussing André's crush on Jade.
  • Tori tells André to "forget about this," being surprised and frustrated that he can't just turn off his emotions and quickly get over a romance as Tori has demonstrated the ability to do.
  • Tori tries to calm him down by rationally explaining that André is very likely not in love with Jade but that he was just tired and emotional from songwriting.
  • André agrees with Tori summarizing Jade as "a mean, vicious person, with deep psychological problems."
  • After André agrees with Tori's logic, there's an awkward silence right before they both take a drink from their hot chocolate.
  • Once Tori convinces André that he's not in love with Jade, both seem to think that he and Jade dating is a stupid idea.
  • When Tori says, "What if you are in love with Jade?", he says, "Don't say that," then she says "But what if you are?" After he says "I am," she says "YOU ARE!!" in a very concerned voice. She sounds like she is afraid she would lose him, and he seems to feel bad about possibly being in love with Jade.
    Tandre 2

    About To Kiss!

  • Tori spends the entire episode trying to help André get over his crush on Jade.
  • Tori is the only one to find out about André crushing on Jade and that's only because Tori is the only person that André seems to trust.
  • Tori dresses up like Jade in one of her attempts to help André get over his crush. When she mentions them (meaning André and Jade) how if they ever go out that she would be way meaner to him, André leans in to kiss her. Tori gets flustered at this implying that she might have a slight crush on André
  • Tori knows André so well that she prepared cue cards answering the questions she knew he'd ask her while she was dressed up as Jade.
  • When André goes to lean in to kiss Tori she doesn't immediately back off or reject it, though she is caught off-guard and visibly frightened, until he says "Oh Jade," making it seem as though Tori is not opposed to the idea of kissing André until she realized that the kiss wasn't for her.
  • Tori respects André enough that she refuses to steal a kiss while he's experiencing emotional difficulties.
  • Tori does everything she can to stop André from admitting his feelings for Jade.
  • When André tells Tori that he thinks he is in love with Jade, Tori's facial expression seems shocked and seemed to state this can't be happening.
  • Even though Tori finds André's crush on Jade to be ridiculous, she still finds it sweet that André would write Jade a song.
  • Tori offers to sing with André, an offer he readily takes her up on.
  • André claims that Jade's name was in 365 Days but that he swapped it out with "baby." Baby, however, has two syllables and Jade has one while Tori does have two syllables.
  • Tori and André sing a duet together, 365 Days.
  • Tori stops André from revealing who 365 Days is really about.
  • While performing 365 Days, there was a moment in the song where Tori leaned in to sing into André's microphone even though she had her own.
  • While singing the lines "Closer to me" and "Baby" and every other romantic part of the duet, Tori always seemed to look at André to sing the line.
  • This time, Tori is André's biggest supporter and shoulder to lean on, while it's usually the other way around.
  • Tori helps André get over his crush on Jade because she truly cares about his relationships with both Beck and Jade and realizes the consequences that could come to him if he kept liking Jade. She also wants André to have a girlfriend who is nice to him. Both seem to agree that Jade would be emotionally abusive towards André if they dated.
  • Tori uses a lot of physical contact throughout the episode to get André to calm down. For example, she rubs his arms in a caring fashion to try and calm him down while they are sitting together at the Vegas' kitchen table.
  • At the end, Tori urges him to go out with the girl that approaches him (acting very much like a wingman), probably because she's happy that she was able to help him get over Jade and wants him to be happy.
  • In the end after André says "Jade who?" he smiles at Tori as though he was being flirty, and she seemed happy the whole crush was finally over.
  • Tori helps André get over his crush on Jade, and she will do anything to get him not to like her and to make him happy because that's what he wants. She also knows that Jade would not treat him well and doesn't want him to hurt his friendship with Beck.
  • Tori obviously did not want André to date/be in love with Jade, possibly because she wanted his love for her.
  • As of this episode, both have a tell regarding whether or not they're in love with someone. André acts "wonky" while Tori cups her hands in her lap and tilts her head to the right (as seen in her interactions with Ryder and Steven). As neither have shown this behaviour around the other, however, it would seem to suggest that they're not in love with each other and are truly just friends.

  • Tori says that there are two guys in the cupcake (meaning André and Beck) but looks at André as she says it.
  • André yells, "How could you guys let her go out there all by herself!" feeling worried for Tori leaving the cupcake.
  • André, along with Beck, are the only ones who are concerned about Tori's safety.
  • André, along with the others, is stunned that Tori casually survived the street and brought back help that she's not scared of.

  • At the end when the letter is being read, Tori and André both call themselves things that are music-related.
  • While everyone, but Jade, seems nonplussed by Tori's many odd talents and extravagant acts, André seems the least drawn in by them, showing that the two know each other very well.

The Gorilla Club

  • Tori and André sit right next to each other during Sinjin's game show.
  • When Sinjin asks them to be on the show, Tori looks right at André when she says none of them are dating except Beck and Jade.
  • When Sinjin starts begging them to be on the show, Tori looks at André again probably to ask him if he'll be her "boyfriend" but before she can even say a word, Sinjin starts shaking her, telling her not to ruin this for him which prompts a shocked and confused look from André.
  • In the game show when Cat hugs André, he tells her, "Don't start something you can't finish." Whenever Tori hugs him the same way, he never shows any dislike or says anything of the sort to her.
  • When Tori feels bad that they didn't invite Beck to the card game, André bitterly answers that inviting him would mean inviting Jade as well.
  • When Tori struggles to tell Jade why she and Beck weren't invited to the card game, André steps in and does so.
  • The two sit across from one another while playing cards.
  • The two are standing next to each other when Jade is delivering her ultimatum to Beck.
  • Both seem proud and surprised by Beck standing up to Jade for once.

  • At Nozu, Tori tries to get André to confess that he gets nervous and uncomfortable around his new girlfriend. It seems Tori wants to make André see that his girlfriend is not the one for him.
  • At Nozu, when André tells the waiter "no crab" like he is groveling for his life, Tori looks at him with pure shock, like she is afraid of what will happen to André.

  • When Hope invites Tori to eat sushi with her and André, at first Tori wants to say no, but André immediately answers for her, saying she's going. This shows André really wants Tori to be there with him, maybe for support.
  • When Tori first sees Hope, she has a somewhat sad/astonished look on her face.
  • When Hope forces André to put on his new scarf, Tori looks like she feels really bad for him.
  • Tori tells André that she thinks Hope is really nice even though she hates her, maybe because she cares for him and wants him to be happy.
  • Tori doesn't open the door for André like she normally does, this shows she trusts André and is closer with him than anyone else.
  • Tori gives André her mashed potatoes.
  • André tells Tori how to mash potatoes better.
  • André eats the mashed potatoes with the same spoon Tori was using. Neither seems weirded out by this.
  • André again goes to Tori for help about his moral dilemma, showing how highly he thinks of her character. Though he could have gone to Beck, unlike in Jade Gets Crushed, he again shows that Tori is well and truly his best friend.
  • Both André and Tori seem to go to each other when they have a problem.
  • When André comes over, Tori was wearing purple, the Tandré color. Likewise, she owns a purple dress.
  • During most of the song they are singing to each other.
  • Both Tori and André are in sync in their dance moves and harmonizing.
  • When Tori is dancing on the table, André's eyes seem to light up as he stares at her hips.
  • André invites Tori to perform with him, like he usually does.
    Tandreee
  • When André and Tori are hugging, Hope is smiling at them, possibly realizing that they look cute together.
  • Their performance is so good that Shawn Quincy would prefer hearing it again to being with his daughter at the hospital.

Car, Rain & Fire

  • This is the first episode where Tori and André don't interact but when André came over to the Vega household, Trina thought that André came to her house to see Tori and she was shocked to hear that her sister was not the reason he had come, implying that Tori is the main reason why André visits.

Tori & Jade's Play Date

  • When Tori's character comes home, she touches André's character and says hello.
  • When André says, "Then Mama's got some explaining to do," he looks over at Tori and she smiles at his joke.
  • In rehearsal, when Jade says, "They're identical, look at them!" Tori slightly smiles at André.
  • When Tori looks at Beck because she thinks Beck's character, Carter, is Tommy, but it is actually André, so she means to really ask Tommy (André) how school was.
  • Tori may have turned down the boys at Nozu because she has feelings for André (or the boys were really annoying her.)
  • In a deleted scene, Tori tells Jade to talk to her butt, going so far as to raise it, André tries to sneak a peek. Later, when Jade pushes Tori down slowly on the chair, Tori mentions, "Look at that cool ceiling!" and André actually looks up.

April Fools' Blank

  • Throughout the episode, Tori wears purple, the official Tandré color.
  • André tells Tori about the war and the pop quiz.

Driving Tori Crazy

Vlcsnap-2012-05-04-02h41m59s216

Tori Vega, André Harris, André's Grandma and Warm Oatmeal??

  • When André sees Tori enter the school with her clothes soaked, he says, "Oh my God!" because he is concerned about her and why she arrived to school looking so drenched.
  • When André makes fun of Tori for not having her driver's license, Tori becomes upset.
  • André volunteers to drive Tori to school after she tells him about the fight in Beck's car.
    Vlcsnap-2012-05-04-02h42m28s243
  • André is not ashamed to have Tori around his grandmother.
  • Tori said her nose really hurts in a pouty tone, trying to be cute for André.
  • André seems concerned that Tori took on 4 girls by herself while Beck was driving her to school the previous day.
  • When Tori thanks André for driving her to school, she says it in a very appreciative way.
  • André replies "Eh, no problem! Anytime you need a ride, just know you can call on --" before his grandmother cuts him off. It appears that for a moment, he forgot his grandmother is in the car and is talking to Tori as if the two of them are alone. It also seems that André is trying to tell Tori that she can count on him before he is cut off and possibly implying that he can continue driving her to school every day.
  • When André's grandmother interrupts his reply to Tori, André seems flustered and embarrassed, most likely because he isn't expecting his grandmother to interrupt him or because he forgets she is even there.
  • André seems annoyed and even angry that his grandmother keeps yelling at Tori in his car and will not eat her breakfast.
  • When André's grandmother is laughing at Tori for not having her driver's license, André is trying not to laugh along after Tori looks for his opinion.
  • When André's grandmother dumped her oatmeal into Tori's hands, André was clearly shocked by what she had done.
  • When he pulled over to the side of the road and asked Tori if he should give her another ride to school tomorrow morning, to which Tori replied "Nope!" in an annoyed manner, André seemed somewhat disappointed but not surprised, probably because he knew that taking Tori to school meant that she would have to put up with his grandmother once more.

How Trina Got In

  • Tori's first and only choice for someone to call for help was André. This means that she trusts him to get her out of trouble.
  • Tori seems really mad that Robbie doesn't call André for real on his PearPhone to come to rescue them.
  • Tori fights Robbie to get his phone and so she can talk to André.

Tori Goes Platinum

  • André is the only guy friend to go with Tori, Cat, and Jade for her first meeting.
  • Unlike Jade and Cat, André is not jealous of Tori winning the Platinum Music Awards.
  • André tries to lean into a selfie that Tori is taking of herself and Beck.
  • André brings Tori a present when Tori is feeling low.
  • André and Tori go out to dinner together.
  • André (and Robbie) kiss Tori on the cheek before running off to watch Jade rehearse.
  • When André (and Robbie) kiss her on the cheek and when she falls, if you look closely, she falls looking in André's direction.
  • Tori turns to talk to André, as well as say his name a few times, excitedly after they announce the auditions for the Platinum Music Awards.
  • André can tell that Tori was nervous at dinner.
  • André seems to be concerned about Tori's nervousness and tries to cheer her up.
    Tumblr mfgj01adSc1qka4t0o6 250

    frame

  • Tori asks André where he is when they are in Mason's office, like she is concerned about him.
  • André seems to not care so much about Tori's strange behavior in this episode which was a likely factor in Tori seeking support from Beck.
  • André gives Tori a really sweet look after she opens the door for him.
  • Right when André enters Tori's house, the soft music playing in the background gets louder. This makes the scene between the two much more meaningful, until Robbie and
    Tumblr mfgj01adSc1qka4t0o7 250

    frame

    Beck enter.
  • André is the only guy Tori hugs after her performance.

Crazy Ponnie

Andreandtori123
  • André tells Tori to get some rest when she looks all tired. This could be hinting that he cares whether she's okay or not.
  • André looks concerned for Tori when she looks tired and awful.
  • Tori grabs André's hand during her freakout over about Ponnie being at the door.
  • When Tori tells the guys that Ponnie's in disguise, she tells them to follow her to the door, while she does this she grabs André and Robbie's hands leading them to the door, but mainly holds André's hand longer.
  • André brings Tori herbal tea to calm her down and offers her the tea in a nice comforting voice, unlike Beck or Robbie who spoke to her as if they were dealing with someone crazy.
  • André goes over to Tori's house (along with Robbie and Beck) to help her.
  • After Robbie sings his song to Tori, she tells the guys that it didn't "make her feel less crazy." During this moment, it is clearly shown that Tori is sitting closer to André than she is to Beck, with her leg resting on his, possibly because of what happened between them in Tori Goes Platinum. The same episode is also likely why André appears to be trying to be closer to Tori after he twice abandoned in her time of need yet he again abandons her in this episode, once again forcing Beck to pick up André's slack.
  • When Tori shushes André she puts her finger on his lips and leans closer to him.
  • Tori is offended when André calls her "Crazy Face."
  • Throughout the episode André is worried about Tori not sleeping.
  • When Rex says, "Is it just me, or is Tori a lot hotter now that she's crazy?" André nods (including Beck and Robbie.)
  • After Tori sees her locker says, "Make It Rot," she only screams for Sikowitz and André (not Beck or Robbie).
  • Tori is talking to André first about her locker.
  • When André makes his "Prunette" joke, both Beck and Tori are confused that André doesn't believe Tori.
  • Tori kicks André out of her house, but unlike Robbie and Beck, she only points at him and touches his arm, but with Robbie and Beck, she pushes them out.

The Blonde Squad

  • When the scene for "The Blonde Squad" is over, Tori is going to pet André's grandmother's bird, but André tells her not to.
  • André is sitting next to Tori during the presentation of Beck's movie.
  • When André goes chasing after his grandmother's bird, Tori initially chases after him shouting, "André!" before she and Robbie stop by Cat.
  • André says, "Hey!" twice to alert Tori.

Season 4

Wanko's Warehouse

  • When André goes over to talk to Tori and Trina, Tori is about to tell him about the Wanko's sale before Trina stops her.
  • Tori says she really wants to tell André about the sale.
  • When everyone is in André's car, he and Tori are sitting in the front (along with Cat).
  • Tori tells only André to restrain Cat, showing that she really trusts him.
  • Tori points to André's chest when she understands Jade's plan.
  • When André freaks out wondering where Robbie is, Tori touches both of his shoulders trying to calm him down, as she did in The Worst Couple. Following this, he doesn't freak out again.

The Hambone King

Toriandrehambonekingd548fsd456f4sd5fsdf
  • André is concerned about the way Tori was acting after watching Robbie's hambone video.
  • Throughout the episode, there is a bizarre background plot of André and Jade seemingly being a couple but the two only seem to play this up when Tori is around, possibly implying that André is trying to make Tori jealous.
  • Tori has no problem with André inviting someone (Beck in this case) to her house.
  • André is shocked but impressed with Tori's skills.
  • André compliments Tori on her hamboning video.
  • When Tori is hesitant to continue her story, André seems interested to know what happened between her and Jarold Ardbeg.
  • André points out that Tori was better at hamboning than Gerald and that she should challenge him to a hambone-off, again showing his opinion that she is the best that there is at everything.
  • André helps Tori train Robbie.
  • André (and Beck) protect Tori from Merl when she insults him.
  • Tori stands next to André during the battle, and they talk.

  • Tori sits next to André.
  • When he says, "I know what to search," to Beck, Tori smiles at him and claps.
  • Tori seems upset when André (and Robbie) can't go to the Museum of Large Bones.
    Od18
  • When Jade insults Tori's new shirt, André glares at Jade.
  • Tori is upset when the slingshot kids destroy André's PearPad.
  • Tori talks to André about getting an updated PearPhone.
  • Tori, as seen to the right, is wearing a purple shirt.

Three Girls And A Moose

  • Tori and André walk into school together at the beginning.
  • André is very jealous of the attention that Tori is giving Moose. He only slightly cares about Jade doing the same (and even then it seems more born out of curiosity that she's flirting with someone other than Beck) while he doesn't care at all what Cat is doing.
  • Tori (along with Jade) was supposed to sing back-up for André.
  • When Tori asks if he doesn't want her and Jade to be his backup singers anymore, he says he does in a disappointed voice.
  • When Tori and Cat sing to the guys, Tori hugs André at one point and later holds his hand as she sings.
  • André says that the girls' (Tori included) singing was hot, while Robbie says it was sweet and Beck says it was cool, implying that André finds Tori to be attractive.
  • Tori (and Cat) sing LA Boyz to show her/their appreciation and love for André (and Robbie and Beck and all the boys part of Tinkle-Aid).
  • As of this episode, both prove themselves morally superior to their Bade counterparts. André refused to act on his crush for Jade out of respect for Beck and Tori wouldn't kiss Beck to spare Jade's feelings. By contrast, Beck had no issue smearing Jade's name to try and get a kiss from Tori and Jade openly forced herself onto Moose, seemingly for no other reason than a failed attempt to make Beck jealous.

Cell Block

  • Tori and André are sitting together in the Black Box Theater.
  • They laugh together over a video that Tori shows André.
  • Both try to be positive about not having phones.
  • When Robbie talks about having room in his pocket for allergy pills and cheese, Tori and André both look at each other (Tori looks at him, then looks away, then André looks at her.)
  • André is the only one to nod in agreement when Tori is telling Cat that they shouldn't even think about their phones.
  • André and Tori both restrain Cat first, before being thrown off.
  • They both have her arms after Cat is held down in a chair. Tori is leaning against André.
  • When Sikowitz asks if they want to cancel the bet, they both respond no quickly.
  • Tori and André seem as if they are the team representatives, by replying "It's on."
  • Given that Beck and André fell victim to the "butt mole" trap but managed to resist the temptation, it seems that André would very much like to see Tori's naked butt.
  • Tori grabs André's arm as the guys are marching around the girls.

Tori Fixes Beck and Jade

  • They walk down the stairs together.
  • They stand really close to each other in the hallway.
  • They seem to be closer in this episode than in the previous episodes.
    A9DVzFxCEAEfWe-
  • Tori sits with André at lunch and asks him to ask Jade out so that Beck can ask Meredith out.
  • André confirms to Tori that he no longer has any feelings for Jade whatsoever and says that he would never ask Jade out.
  • André and Tori pay a guy to ask Jade out. Jade finds out and starts chasing them.
  • After André and Tori run away from Jade together, Tori is seen tightly holding onto André's arm for protection.
  • They run and hide together in the janitor's closet and speak to each other about how they might have to stay locked in the closet together forever... or until Jade calms down.
    A9DWiJ7CUAAXGmS

    Tandré hug!

  • When Beck comes into the janitor's closet, Tori jumps onto André with a tight hug in fear that it is Jade.
  • It seems André and Tori quickly explain themselves to Beck for their behavior because Beck seems to have eyed them suspiciously.
  • While they are explaining the situation to Beck, they were arguing like a couple on whose idea it was to pay a guy to ask Jade out.
  • When Jade appears in the janitor's closet, Tori and André jump on each other again, this time more aggressively and much longer as if they are hanging on to each other for dear life. Tori insists that it was both her and André's idea and not just hers as André steadily disagrees.
  • Neither seem particularly emotionally invested at Beck and Jade getting back together, their happiness instead seems to be derived from the fact that the group dynamic will go back to normal. This suggests that, while neither of them seems to enjoy Beck and Jade's relationship, they've become used to it and can support it for their friends' sake.
  • After Jade's performance, Tori playfully tells André "You know... Cat hasn't dated anyone in a while?" André chuckles lightly and slowly backs away from her saying, "You... are a dangerous person" with a flirtatious smile on his face.
  • Following the above exchange, André says that he won't date Cat either, possibly hinting that he only wants to date Tori.

One Thousand Berry Balls

  • They are together during the entire episode.
  • André stops and watches Tori scour her locker as Tori stops her frantic search when André clears his throat.

Tandie
  • André gets really worried when Tori eats the counter cleanser.
  • He tries to explain to his boss why Tori is coughing and spitting, standing up when his boss calls her stupid.
  • Neither understand the appeal of berry balls.
  • André says that Tori's costume is hideous trying to help her to not to use the costume.
  • When their boss tells that his wife designed the costume, Tori lies that hideous is teen slang, to protect André.
  • André encourages Tori repeating her sentence: "One thousand to go!" and pointing to her.
  • André watches Tori every time she offers someone a berry ball.
  • When Tori says that she and André have to be at school by nine if they want to sing "[their] song," not just the song or my song or his song. This shows she includes him and feels it's their song together.
    Tumblr mf9o5ghcmD1ryhi37o1 r1 250
  • André tries to give Tori advice when she is mean to a little kid, such as telling her to try and offer some to the chubby boy, though he does laugh at some of her failures.
  • André guesses that Tori did not distribute all berry balls, which is right.
  • Tori puts her hand on André's shoulder and he leans very close to her, so she tells him the berry balls are in her hat.
  • André is worried that the berry balls would melt in her hat.
  • Tori says that they should go to her house to change clothes, implying that André's clothes are in her house.
  • They both lie when their boss asks if Tori distributed all the Berry Balls.
    Dgg
  • André gets very worried when Berry Balls begin to drip from Tori's hat and tries frantically to clean it.
  • When André lies that Tori was crying (to hide that Tori had put the Berry Balls in her hat), she quickly joins his lie with André putting one hand on her back and another on her arm, before pulling down her hat to hide the melting Berry Balls and ultimately carrying Tori out the shop, bridal style.
  • Tori takes André's hand and runs with him onstage.
Otbbta4
  • They wrote Here's 2 Us together and perform it.
  • They're the only pairing that doesn't receive notable "ship tease" in this episode. They don't seem to mind, being perfectly comfortable with their friendship as it is.
  • Their performance is so good that it makes Bade, if only briefly, forget their relationship troubles.

Robbie Sells Rex

  • In the hallway, they stand close to each other.
  • Everyone seems confused when André laughs at Jade's joke about Tori's "monster purse."
  • Tori helps calm André down after Rhoda says something to him.

  • They both sing "Faster Than Boyz" together.
  • André moves to Tori's house because he can't stand his grandmother anymore, and Tori lets him stay even though he gets on the Vega family's nerves.
    Tumblr mg7r12B8Ls1ry6uloo1 500

    Tandre hug gif :)

  • Tori happily lets André stay the night.
  • Tori is upset when André brings his luggage into her house but tries to enjoy his company.
  • André picks Tori up by her waist and carries her out of the room after he realizes that she is playing his song. Despite the fact that Tori has previously been shown to have almost superhuman strength, she doesn't turn it on André, even when they're fighting.
  • André takes Tori's phone and put it in his pants then motioned towards her.
  • Tori still takes her phone even after it is in André's pants.
  • Tori helps André finish the music for "Faster Than Boyz."
  • André lets Tori take half the credit for his song.
  • André plays his song so many times that it gets stuck in Tori's head. This can mean that Tori likes it a lot, so she remembers how to play it.
  • Tori pretends to be André's grandmother in order to help him write the song.
    Tumblr mejnrmAHuu1dsfsdfsdfs

As of this episode, both show themselves capable of imitating Charlotte Harris.
  • At the beginning of the episode, Tori flirtatiously walks towards André.
  • When André sees her flirty walk, he knows it means she has big news, showing he knows her well.
  • When André and Tori are going to tell others the news, he tells her, "Let's do it the right way" and they both walk the same in a flirty walk.
  • Tori and André bicker like an old married couple.
  • Tori and André both wear purple, blue, and red throughout the episode, reinforcing that purple is the Tandré color.
  • To show how much more in sync they are than Bade and Cabbie, this is the only time that Tori and André have properly been at odds with one another.

Brain Squeezers

Tumblr mgn9jazo3C1qecrdxo5 r1 250
  • Tori originally picks André (along with Beck and Robbie) on her Brain Squeezers team.
  • André is the first person that Tori chooses to be on her team. Despite this, he lets Jade steal her spot.
  • André wants to be on Tori's team.
  • André puts his hands on Tori's head.
  • André says that he and Tori are "tight."
  • André squeezes Tori's shoulder when he says they are tight which she reacts uncomfortably to.
  • André says he and Tori are always on the same team. After he stabs her in the back, she seems a bit amused by his doink.
  • When Tori is apologizing to the Blue Team, her gaze seems to linger on André the longest.
  • Unlike Beck and Jade, André doesn't seem angry that Tori didn't know how dangerous Brain Squeezers was, instead looking more annoyed than anything else. It is possible that he accepted his doinks as proper punishment for letting Jade steal Tori's spot.

The Slap Fight

  • They stand next to each other in the Blackbox Theater.
  • André asks Tori to bring the things for the short movie.
  • They are alone in Sikowitz's classroom after everyone else leaves.
  • André trusts Tori to complete the prop.
  • Tori is looking for André and finds him in the Blackbox Theater.
  • Tori asks André why he isn't in Sikowitz's classroom because they have to work on their film.
  • After Tori leaves the Blackbox Theater, she comes back to see what André is doing.
  • André goes after Tori and sees her trying to get more followers on TheSlap.
  • Tori is upset with André when she finds out he's trying to get more Slap followers.
  • While Tori can look past the other four trying to get more Slap followers, she seems very disappointed that André would be so petty and vain.
  • It's only when André turns on Tori at the end that she really gets angry and begins firing back at the group. Seemingly terrified that Tori will turn her winning streak against them, André quickly changes the subject to the question of how Trina got so many followers.

Star Spangled Tori

  • André (along with the others) pats Tori on the back as they walk out of Tori's house.
  • Before Tori starts singing the National Anthem, André says, "This is going to be amazing."
  • When Tori sings, "The bombs bursting in air," he moves his head to the rhythm with an enamored face.
  • André looks worried and concerned when he sees the dog pulling Tori and says " Oh my Chiz."

  • When Tori says to André to be quiet because she will see the finale later, he stays silent.
  • André feels bad for Tori when the finale is revealed.

Other Programs

iParty with Victorious

Tandreiparty
  • Given Robbie, Beck, and Jade's confused expressions, Tori is seemingly the only one who knows that André has two uncles (a creepy one and a real estate agent).
  • Trina asks Tori to have André move the party, showing that people feel that Tori can control André.
  • When Tori is asking André his opinion of who should her future babies look like, her or Steven, he seems uninterested and even a little bit upset about the question Tori asked. She could have only asked him to make him jealous. Though it could simply be due to her bad timing as his attention is on the Panda.
  • Tori copies André by banging the table with her hands in the lunch scene.
  • Tori turns and smiles at André when he sings in the Mash-Up.
  • Tori is one of the few people who is originally invited to the party at Kenan's house by André.
  • Even though André didn't invite Steven to the party, he has no issue with Tori bringing him. Contrast that to when he'd thought Robbie had invited Sinjin and his fellow nerds to the party.
  • Tori and André are the first ones to meet Kenan and the iCarly trio.
  • André is the first of the gang to learn that Steven is cheating on Tori.
  • André is visibly confused when Carly says she wants revenge on Steven and refers to him as "a really bad guy", showing that André supported Steven and Tori's relationship. At the lunch table, André, along with Robbie, actually seemed amused by Tori and Steven's flirting, contrasting how annoyed he usually is at Bade.
  • Tori explains to André that Steven is also Carly's boyfriend, letting him in on the revenge scheme. He's also the only one of her gang that Tori trusts with the plan.
  • Tori hugs André then he picks her up. They have the biggest hug at the end of the episode.
  • When André and Tori hug, Tori wraps her legs around André's waist.
  • In his first scene, André is wearing a purple shirt while Tori wears one at the party, again indicating that purple is the Tandré color.

TheSlap Hints

Pic

From Tori Takes Requests video

  • On TheSlap, they've posted several pics of each other.
  • Tori posted "André! Where's your profile video?? Want me to help you make one after school this week?"
  • In the video where Tori and Robbie do their drive-by acting exercise together, André is at her house watching it with her. The fact that Robbie "kisses" her three times in the video might imply that she was trying to make him jealous.
  • Also on TheSlap, there is a picture of the two of them that is the second most liked picture behind one of Beck and Tori. However, the Tandré picture was put up a few days after the Bori one, which could explain the difference in popularity.
  • For the music video Make It Shine, on TheSlap everyone added someone to the list of people in the video, or "slapped" them in the video. André "slapped" Tori in the video.
  • On TheSlap, in the first "Tori Takes Requests" video, André is with Tori at her house. They are sitting on the couch and he starts sniffing her and getting closer to her, asking if she was wearing a
    TandreBigShowcase
new perfume. She says she ate a salad with zesty ranch and he says, "I knew it." They go on with the video and André reads her the comments. He reads one by Jade and then one asking her to pour ketchup on her feet. She refuses and he tells her she should do it. When she finally agrees to it, he pours the ketchup on her feet. She complains saying it isn't performing and he turns on music and tells her to make her feet dance that way it is. She does and André dances along with the music too; they both laugh as the video ends.
  • On Nick.com there is a picture of them that leads to the "About" section.
  • On TheSlap, André had Tori's help making his video.
    Tori and andre
  • André calls wearing a purple sweatshirt, hanging with Tori and pointing at salt a "perfect day."
  • André posted a status saying he wished someone would kiss him on New Year's Eve, hinting that he wanted Tori to kiss him.
  • In the pic where it shows Tori and André together at the big showcase, he says, "I could get used to this."
  • André asks on his status "Nobody offers to tickle my tummy." Relating to "The Wood" episode when Tori 'offers Beck a tummy tickle' on the TV show. Which was fake flirting, but André didn't know at the time.
  • On a picture of Tori, André writes: "This is Tori. She rocked The Big Showcase hard. And now she goes to my school Hollywood Arts. The girl is gonna BLOW UP."
  • André was at Tori's house on Friday when she was taking requests (when she scared Trina 7 times) and they were sitting very close to each other.
  • When Tori was going to scare Trina she asked André to shoot the video and he said he would. When André asked if he could read the request, Tori let him.

  • In Cat's Christmas album, Tori was Mrs. Claus and André was Santa, suggesting that Cat may think Tori and André should get together.
  • Tori wrote on a status update: "Music is my BF. Nothing makes me happier. Too bad music can't drive me to the movies and buy me dinner." André also loves music.
  • In the "Prome Pics" gallery, André posed with Tori the same way he did with Sherry.
  • In the Leave it all to Shine video, André slapped Tori.
    TandreBucket2
  • In a Drive-By-Acting Exercise video of Tori and Robbie, at the beginning of the video André was over at Tori's house and they were sitting next to each other on the couch. Throughout the whole intro, André does not seem eager to watch the video, implying that he doesn't like watching other people kiss Tori.
  • In the Helen Back Again photo gallery, there's a picture of Tori and André. Tori's caption was that she thought André was admiring her makeup, but there were really poppy seeds in her teeth. She was embarrassed by him noticing.
  • In the Terror On Cupcake Street photo gallery, there's a picture of the whole gang in their candy jammies and Tori comments on the photo saying "This pic is interesting...Beck takes a moment to braid Robbie's hair while André gets cozy with Jade (who he doesn't have a crush on)! See what candy jammies lead to....nothing good." This shows Tori doesn't want André to like Jade.
  • In Tori Takes Requests, André and Tori are hanging out in Tori's living room and read a request that says to get rid of a man's mustache and replace it with a lady's wristwatch. They shave a social worker's mustache and use Face Glue to glue the wristwatch. André asks Mark what time is it and Mark said that he doesn't know because he can't see the watch. The video ends with André and Tori laughing.
  • In Tori Takes Requests: Multiple Sandwiches, Tori gets a request from "Sandwich Guy" to make different types of sandwiches while doing crazy things at the same time. Tori thinks it's very strange, but André eventually convinces her to do it. He cheers her on as she makes a turkey and mustard sandwich while hopping on one leg, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich while wearing crazy sunglasses, and a roast beef sandwich while yelling at a house plant. Also, after the sandwiches are done, André ends up eating all of them. It is later revealed that André was indeed "Sandwich Guy" because he wanted sandwiches and he
    Capture1
    hated that plant.
  • Tori and André made a video proving that André can write a great love song about anything. Tori defies André composing a song that has the words yogurt, blubber, pimple, and fungus. André composes his music as singing goes, and in several moments he sings looking at Tori. When he finishes, Tori agreed that he indeed can write a love song about everything.
  • In the beginning of the video, Tori says that she and André went to Nozu together.

Dan Schneider Hints

  • In the Fun Facts for "Tori the Zombie" Dan wrote, "Everyone who works on Victorious loved the whole run where André is making Tori sing like an old jazz singer. It was really cute and fun to watch!"

Fanship and Ship Representation

Victorious-season-1-10
  • Most Bade shippers ship Tandré as well and vice-versa. This most likely being because both pairings could correspondingly happen in the show without causing the sinking of the other ship. Among a few common reasons for the co-shipping is that Tandré and Bade fans consider the Bori ship to be boring and cliché, the fans that prefer the best friends to couple dynamic, or find Bade to be a unique and appealing couple, so they ship Tandré so as not to rival them. Both Team Bade and Team Tandré seemingly tend to stand together against the Bori ship. Also, many Tandré and Bade fans believe that if Dan Schneider wanted Tori and Beck to be together, Beck would have broken up with Jade to date Tori after the Bori kiss (Pilot). All that said, in a marked contrast to their Bade counterparts, most Tandré fans are on good terms with Bori shippers, being able to hold civil conversations with their rivals, bonding over their mutual love of Tori.
  • The Tandré ship also seems to get the least amount of bashing throughout the Victorious fandom. Most people that do not ship Tandré, or ship a rival ship, normally don't go flaming or putting down Tandré. Tandré shippers tend to return the respect they receive from other shippers.

Fan Representation

Below is a list of official Fanship Representation items of Tandré. Each is based on information in the show, TheSlap, and any other canon source. These symbols and representations can be well used in shipping on various fansites.

  • Colors: Purple, because the two are often seen together wearing red and blue respectively, also some of their key moments as a couple occur when they are wearing purple; and André stated on TheSlap wearing a purple shirt, hanging with Tori and pointing at salt was his idea of a perfect day.
  • Number: 1, because their friendship was fulfilled on her first day at the school.
  • Animal: Dog, because in Tori Goes Platinum, when Tori's feeling low André came and got her a creepy stuffed dog. In Star-Spangled Tori, André sticks his hand up the butt of a stuffed dog for Tori's sake.
  • Instrument: Piano, because this is André's main instrument, and what he uses to write the songs that Tori sings. Also used in Tori Goes Platinum when she sings a romantic song as her audition.
  • Song: Tell Me that You Love MeSong2You365 Days, and Countdown. All are romantic duets sung by Tori and André in The Great Ping Pong ScamThe Diddly-BopsJade Gets Crushed, and André's Horrible Girl respectively. Mrs. Officer by Lil Wayne also represents the two because in Sleepover at Sikowitz's, Andre had a dream of Tori as a police officer.
  • Drink: Hot Cocoa, because André made it for Tori in Helen Back Again, and Tori made some for André in Jade Gets Crushed.

Trivia

  • Both André and Tori each approved of a relationship that the other had before the significant other's true personality was revealed. André liked Steven Carson before he was found to be a cheater and Tori was fond of Hope Quincy before her clingly jealous side was revealed.
  • They're the only two who have dated an episode's main antagonist (assuming Jade would not be considered an antagonist), Tori having dated Ryder and Steven while André dated Hope.
  • André is the only guy that Tori hasn't kissed (depending on whether or not Tori getting mouth-to-mouth resuscitation from Robbie counts as a kiss). André did kiss Tori's cheek in Tori Goes Platinum however.
  • Compared to Bade and Cabbie, Tandré seems to be the sanest guy-girl duo. In fact, they seem to be the sanest of their genders often rolling their eyes at Beck, Jade, Cat, and Robbie.
  • The two (along with Jade and Robbie) were in every episode and interacted in all of them except Car, Rain & Fire and How Trina Got In. Unlike Jade and Robbie however, Tori and André always had noticeable impacts on the plot.
  • Both have had two on-screen romances (Ryder and Steven for Tori, Sherry and Hope for André) and one off-screen one (Tori's past relationship with Daniel and André's flirting with Keeko).
  • Both date a lot but seem unable to hold down a relationship for long.
  • Both seem very desirable to the opposite gender.
